True innovation is not about abstract concepts. It is about structured, measurable impact.
For the last seven years, my focus has been on one metric: scale. Building systems that could handle the weight of 14 million users meant living in a world of absolute precision. If a line of code wasn't necessary, it was removed. If a process wasn't efficient, it was rewritten.
Today, I am applying that same standard of rigor to a new challenge: the innovation ecosystem of Southern Brazil.
I am proud to announce that I have officially stepped into the role of Innovation and Technology Manager (GIT) for the Startup Lab / Projeto UALL at URCAMP in Bagé, RS. Leading this initiative allows me to drive technical growth at the heart of the region's southernmost technology corridor.
The Mission: Real Connection
The innovation ecosystem in our region is rich with potential, but potential alone does not drive an economy. It requires structure.
My role is to serve as the technical lead and primary connector between three critical pillars:
- Anchor Companies: Established businesses in the Campanha and Fronteira Oeste regions that face real-world market challenges.
- Startups: Agile teams capable of developing the specific solutions those businesses need.
- Institutional Support: The strategic backing of the Secretaria de Inovação, Ciência e Tecnologia (SICT) of Rio Grande do Sul.
This is not about creating "buzz" or hosting networking events for the sake of it. It is about Open Innovation: a deliberate process where companies solve their internal problems by partnering with external technology providers.
Why This Matters
I chose to step into this role because I believe the Campanha region is ready for a new cycle of maturity. We have the talent, and we have the industries. What we need now is a professional, engineering-grade approach to connecting them.
I am bringing the same methodology I used in software engineering, including reliability, clarity, and execution, to the management of this ecosystem.
The Door Is Open
We are officially in the Activation Phase.
If you lead a company that is looking to modernize, or if you are part of a startup seeking a real market fit, the Startup Lab is your resource. We are here to map your needs and connect you with the right partners.
Let’s get to work.
